The PadFone has certainly spent it’s fair share of time in a developmental phase of some sort, but it looks like we’re finally coming up on a solid release date being shared pretty soon. Today Asus released a promo video, showing off a ton of features that the PadFone, and it’s accessories, will integrate come release. Despite the enormous and wide variety of functions that this thing will be able to do, everything I’ve seen so far seems to indicate Asus has managed to pull it off without be gimmicky. Miles Reiter started VR-Dwellers Blog in December of 2009, it took until May 2011 to make the jump to becoming a serious, daily tech news blog. Miles is interested in basically any technology you put in front of him, on a screen or otherwise, which is probably the reason he spends so much time browsing the web for interesting stuff to put on the blog.
