PSA: Don’t Buy Expensive HDMI Cables

It’s been said before but merits being mentioned again. Expensive HDMI cables aren’t worth their price. Not even close. I wouldn’t pay more than four dollars for a six foot cable, no more than seven dollars for a fifteen footer. Read after the break for more info and suggestions for where to buy cheap cables. If you go somewhere like Best Buy and buy a TV the sales people there will most likely try to get you to buy accessories and peripherals. Blu-ray players, universal remotes, and cables. Now, the big store brands of HDMI cables are INSANELY overpriced and over hyped. I’ve seen a fifteen foot cable for $120 dollars at the store.
